Wow, that was a complex little while there. Passover, work insanity, blah. I'm only just recovering. I seem to have zorched my left knee somehow over the last six weeks, in a way that only hurts when I sit in seiza. Specifically, after sitting seiza for a minute or two, which is normal for class, and which involves sitting on my folded legs, I get up and feel like I just hyperextended that knee—weird, huh?
Other than that, I'm finally finding the spare cycles to investigate groovy, which I think will be of tremendous usefulness to me as Automation Guy for a java development group: it has all the dynamism I like about things like perl/Ruby/etc. within the context of a running JVM, which, in the little ant/maven universe in which I find myself every day, turns out to be extremely convenient.
And finally, I'm all atwitter, something I'd meant to get around to a while back. So: things are getting accomplished, albeit gradually, as usual.
